(State of the Union Address) We’ve lost control. Our lives are empty. Our homes are lifeless. Some of us go to the bar to relax. Others just rest. We strive, we worry, we fuss-- But we know we can’t win. Our circumstance has proven to us we’ve lost. "Control our lives." Are not our hopes and dreams endowed by grants from a brute Congress? No need to comment on how empty our homes are. Lifeless zombies have road rage often while acting as commuter, officer, or tourist. Then, some of us go to the bar. We want beer, love or just sex without worry. The pill, the test, operations. It’s easy to relax. Others just rest © 2002 by daniel ml. All rights reserved. |
